    SMILING SUN
    Decorated with thick
    glossy green
    and
    blue glaze.
    Tiny
    lavender
    flecks
    float on the outer edges of the blue rays.
    David Gil 1960's handmade plaque pottery.
    Mid-Century Modern trivet in very good condition. .
    Marked with the  earlier “Bennington Potters Vermont Cooperative Design” with the distinctive back stamp.
    Also, the incised number
    1532
    to designate the shape.
    Measures 8"X 8"
    Can be displayed as a trivet or a wall hanging and all four feet are present.
